Enhanced security


At Jumbula we take the security of your account very seriously. To further protect your account we have enhanced our system with two-factor authentication and device history.

What is two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account. It is designed to ensure you're the only person who can access your account even if someone else might have guessed your password. After you log into the system with your login and password credentials, you'll be asked to enter a security code. This code can be sent to your phone or email.

How do I activate two-factor authentication?

Step 1: Go to your admin dashboard and click on the menu icon on the top right-hand side and select Security.


Step 2: Click on the switch to enable two-factor authentication. You will then be prompted to verify your email to continue with the process. An activation code will then be emailed to confirm your email address.




Step 3: Once you receive and add the input the activation code you will get a confirmation screen, which means your email is now verified.


Step 4: On the confirmation screen above you will also have the option to add a phone number. Click on the "Activate phone" button to go through the setup process. Once this is completed you will see the confirmed email and phone. You are all set!


What is Device History & Recent Security Events

Under the Security Settings page, you will also see a "Recent security events" section, showing security alerts and security-related actions in the last 30 days and a "Devices" section, showing the device details.



How do I view recent security events for staff?

Step 1: Go to your Staff icon and under the actions column for each staff member you will see a security events option.


Step 2: Once on that screen, you will see a "Recent security events" section that shows activity for the last 30 days. You will also see a "Devices" section identifying the device that was used along with the IP address.


NOTE: It is important to note that if you go back and enable autocharge payments, the system will automatically collect any past due payments. If needed you might want to edit past installments so they are not charged.
