Overview
JBChat is a messaging feature available in beta on iOS, Android, the Business App, and My Jumbula. It allows communication between staff members and, depending on roles and permissions, between staff and parents.
Staff can create group chats and configure settings to control parent participation, such as allowing parents to send messages or limiting them to read-only access. Chats can also be created automatically for specific programs, enabling communication with all enrolled parents in one place.
Instructors cannot initiate direct chats with individual parents. They can only communicate with parents through program-based chats for programs they are assigned to, or within group chats where they have been added by an admin.
