How to set up coupons?
Overview
As part of your online registration setup, you can create coupons to offer incentives and discounts. Coupons can be configured as either a fixed amount or a percentage discount. You can upload coupons in bulk or create new ones directly in the dashboard.
Who is involved
Admins: create and offer coupons.
Families: Use the coupons when registering for an activity.
Before you begin
✅ Setup is done in the NG (Next generation) admin dashboard.
✅ Requires admin-level access.
Creating Coupons
To create a new coupon, navigate to the NG Dashboard > Marketing > Coupons. Click Create coupon:
Enter a name and code for the coupon, then choose the discount type (fixed amount or percentage) and value. Assign the coupon to specific activities, groups, or set a minimum order amount. You can also limit the total number of uses or restrict usage per family. Set a validity period with a start and end date. When you're done, click Submit.
Uploading Coupons
If you already have coupons and want to upload one or more to the dashboard, click Upload Coupons next to the Create coupon button.
Download the provided Excel template, enter your coupon details following the template format, and upload the file back into the system. All other settings are the same as when creating a coupon. When finished, click Submit.
