SmugMug integration overview

The SmugMug Integration allows program operators to securely share photos and videos with families through the My Jumbula app. SmugMug, a professional photo-sharing platform, offers tools to organize, store, and share your media efficiently, saving time and keeping workflows simple.

What is SmugMug?

SmugMug is a paid image-sharing and hosting service that allows users to upload, organize, and share photos and videos. Its professional-grade tools make it ideal for managing program media.

Follow the instructions below to use the SmugMug integration:

  1. Log in to your Jumbula Admin Dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand bar, hover over Dashboard NG.
  3. Click Proceed to be redirected to the NG Dashboard.

  1. On the NG Dashboard, hover over Business Marketing in the left-hand bar.
  2. Click on Business Marketing to open the SmugMug integration page.

  1. On the Photo Sharing page, choose SmugMug.

  2. Click Learn more to begin the integration process.

AlertAttention: You can choose only one photo sharing option (OneDrive, Google Drive, or SmugMug). Once selected, you must use that platform for all future photo sharing. You cannot use multiple platforms at once.


  1. On the SmugMug page, click the Purchase package button to start the integration process.

InfoNote: By clicking on the Learn more button, you will be redirected to the SmugMug official registration page.


  1. On the SmugMug registration page, fill out the required details:

    • Program Name (SmugMug account name)
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Password

Note: When registering, you can use any email address of your choice. It does not need to be the same as the email linked to your Jumbula account.

  1. Once all fields are completed, click Activate my account to finalize your SmugMug registration.


  1. After clicking Activate my account, wait for the integration process to finish.

  2. When the integration is complete, a pop-up will appear. Click the Return to Jumbula button to go back to your Jumbula NG Dashboard.


  1. On the NG Dashboard, click Connect SmugMug to link your SmugMug account with Jumbula.


  1. You’ll be redirected to SmugMug’s official site, where you’ll see a message: "Jumbula would like to access your SmugMug account."

  2. Click Authorize to allow the integration.


  1. Once completed, you’ll see a confirmation message: "You can now use your SmugMug through Jumbula"



How to Upload an Image to SmugMug

  1. Go to the Admin Dashboard > Season > your desired season
  2. Select Programs and orders > Find the desired program
  3. Hover over ... in the Actions column
  4. Select the Orders from the dropdown

  1. Click the Gallery icon, the second icon in the top right corner, to upload your photo.

  1. Click Upload and choose the photo(s) you want to upload from your device.


InfoNote: You can upload media during your program and up to 30 days after it ends.

Example Use Case

For example, if you’re running a Summer Camp, you can select the "Winter Camp 2025" season and upload event photos to share with parents via the My Jumbula app.
