The main idea of the waitlist feature is to allow you to capture general contact information from people that were not able to register to a particular program do to full capacity. If a spot opens up you can contact the participant and provide instructions so they can register. See details below to learn more.
For Single Registration Mode:
If you are using single class registration mode (registrants register for one class at a time) you need to activate the waitlist option in your setup wizard.
Step 1: When you are setting up a program you will be able to select the waitlist option on the first step “Basic Information”. After checking the box, you will be able to add some content that describes your “Waitlist Policy”, see sample below.
If you are using multi-class registration mode (registrants register for multiple-classes at once) you need to activate the waitlist option in the season setup under “Registration Information”.
Step 1: Go to Season → then click on Setup → and finally click on “Registration Information”
Step 2: Go to “Additional Options”, and check the waitlist box. After checking the box, you will be able to add some content that describes your “Waitlist Policy”, see sample below.
NOTE: Once a spot is available you can ask the interested person to register by going to the registrations page. Note that since you are only collecting general information on the waitlist you still need to ask the interested person to complete a registration in-full as they still need to provide all their information.
