How to set up pre-registration?
Overview
In high-demand programs, spots often fill up within minutes—or even seconds—of the registration window opening. The Pre-Registration feature is designed to give families a competitive edge and reduce the stress of opening day.
Instead of rushing to fill out lengthy forms while the clock is ticking, families can complete all necessary forms and waivers in advance. When the official registration period begins, the system saves your progress, allowing you to finalize the enrollment with a single click.
Who is involved
Admins: Responsible for setting the pre-registration window and the final "Go-Live" date.
Families: Responsible for filling out the forms and submitting the final registration.
Before You Begin
✅ Setup is done in the Classic Admin Dashboard
✅ Ensure all required fields, waivers, and custom questions are set and ready.
✅ Make sure you have the exact date and time ready for both the Pre-Registration Opening and the Official Submission Opening.
Description of Steps
To enable the Pre-registration feature, navigate to Classic Admin Dashboard > Seasons > Choose a season > Setup > Multi-class registration, then check the Enable pre-registration box.
You can now configure the general registration start and end dates and set up the dates for the pre-registration period. During the time window specified, families can complete their forms and prepare all necessary documents for the official registration date.
Note: The pre-registration date must end before the general registration date starts.
Managing family pre-registration records
You can navigate to Classic Admin Dashboard > Seasons > Chosen season > Reports > Capacities and waitlists > Draft orders to view your program’s pre-registered participants.
