Overview
Restricting access allows you to control who can view and register for your activities. This is useful for private activities, member-only registrations, or early access for a selected group of participants.
Who is involved
- Admins: Set restrictions (through password) on single or multi-registrations.
- Participants: Allowed participants can register for the activities.
Before you begin
✅ Setup is done in the Classic admin dashboard.
Description of steps
Restricting through activities
If you are planning to register participants of your choice, you can do this while creating the activity.
Navigate to the Classic admin dashboard > Seasons > Preferred season > Setup > Programs > Add program and select a program type.
Check: Restrict access to this class with a registration code. Enter a registration code and a message (visible to participants), then share the code with the selected participants.
You can edit or remove this restriction later by going to Seasons > Select season > Setup > Programs. Hover over the action button and select Edit basic info.
Note: Access restrictions can be applied in different ways depending on how users access the registration flow. Since Jumbula supports both multi-registration and single-registration, it is important to configure restrictions correctly for each.
Restrict by season
Navigate to Seasons > Preferred season > Setup > Multi-class registration > Program information.
Multi-registration restrictions
Restrictions applied at the multi-registration (season) level control program visibility within the multi-registration flow only. Participants who meet the defined criteria will be able to view available programs in this flow.
However, these restrictions do not prevent access from other entry points. If a participant has direct access to a program (for example, via a direct link), they may still be able to register.
To ensure full access control, apply program-level restrictions using a registration code. This prevents unauthorized access regardless of how the participant reaches the program.
