Set up Google Analytics

How to set up Google Analytics integration?

Overview

Connecting Google Analytics to Jumbula enables you to track how families interact with your registration pages, where they drop off, and which marketing channels actually drive conversions. Once the integration is enabled, you can monitor page views, traffic sources, user behavior, and completed registrations directly in your Google Analytics dashboard.

This gives admins visibility into what’s working and what isn’t. You can identify bottlenecks in the registration flow, measure the impact of campaigns, and make data-driven decisions rather than relying on guesswork. It also helps you understand seasonal patterns, high-performing programs, and how changes to your homesite or activity pages influence sign-ups.

Who is involved

Admins: Integrate Google Analytics to monitor traffic, registration conversions, and the impact of marketing campaigns.

Before you begin

If you don't have a Google Analytics account and would like to create one, you can click here. If you have an existing account connected to another domain, you can still use it in combination with your Jumbula registration pages. Click here for more information about cross-domain tracking.

How to add Google Analytics ID in the Jumbula dashboard?

  • Go to Admin Dashboard > Toolbox > Integrations > GA
  • Add your Google Analytics tracking ID (Measurement ID) to the field

  • If you wish to enable cross-domain tracking, check the Enable cross-domain tracking checkbox, and then type in any additional website addresses that you want to track.

  • Click Save

Note: Cross-domain tracking is beneficial if you want to track a visitor who navigates from your website to your Jumbula registration pages. GA will treat it as the same user in reports.

Reporting Examples

Once you have added the Google Analytics tracking ID to your Jumbula account, you will be able to track and get insights on how registrants navigate from page to page within the Jumbula registration process. You can also track the source of visitor traffic. Below are some sample reports to give you an idea of the extent of information that can be captured.
